Description

I always know when it is going to rain because these guys hang their heads. I had to get down on my knees to get this shot. Have you ever dropped to a knee and have that knee land directly in the middle of the biggest toad you have ever seen? It's pretty disgusting but makes and interesting sound. They kind of "Pop". I almost urped! LOL

Oh my! I hope the toad was OK! I once pulled back the branches of a huge lavender bush to find my big African bullfrog had migrated from the pond and was sheltering under it; he looked like a pile of moist dog dropping! Beautiful upside down capture here!

Haven't done the toad thing but I have plopped that knee down and put it square in the middle of a pile of dog duty! It doesn't make a pop sound but I make a pretty exciting sound... LOL. The photo here is very unique and creative...but no photo of the toad??? :-)

This is really stunning. Wonder pov and dof. Never kneel down on a frog but have put my hand down on my share of slugs. Very hard to get the slim off.

Lovely Bokeh And in Australia the only good toad is a dead toad as we have a plague of poisonous cane toads killing our predators. It's so dire the govt here equipped and paid me for 2 years to hunt them but thats a story for another time :)
