A very appealing composition. But it also makes me wonder. Why these clouds - do they indicate the apparition of the character, but why would such entity immediately cry to darkness, or is it dust, but then why white instead of brownish? I like the pose. I love the background. The lighting is good for a stage performance, but in my opinion a more torch-like light would have contributed to the atmosphere of the scene. I like the light place in the sky beyond the character's head: if the setting sun is there, then she must be facing darkness, thus adhering to the title.
