Description

This is a second version of the image I posted yesterday:

For this second image I only changed the sun position and applied some softness to the shadows, nothing else. I would be interested to know which one you prefer. I prefer the first one. I have one more variation that I will post soon. I hope I'm not annoying you with these variations but I think it's interesting to see the change in the mood made by a change in the lighting. Thanks for watching!

What's wrong with the moon? Or the shadows? Something is off about this pic concerning the full moon and the shadows that gives me a head-ache. It just looks 'off' to my eyes. Remove the moon and it looks fine. I'm not sure why. @__@ Weird. First pic like this to bother me. Liked the first one better.

I prefer the first one, though I think both of them are very accomplished works. (I didn´t mentioned this the first time but are you sure that the male figure scale corresponds to the cottage size?; I think he´s a bit larger in proportion. Please, don´t take me too much into consideration; it´s only a minor detail).

both are great, but i do prefer the first. the vibrant colors and gradient depth of the last one are lost in the twilight, but with no other strong focal point to replace their impact. i love the permutations, actually. and i have no problem with the moon or figure. i like the irregularity you added to the waterline; it's very effective. looking forward to the next in the series!
