Description

More experimenting with making better looking eco systems and material combinations that work better with each other. This was done with Vue6 xStream and rendered in LW with Classic Low AA. I wanted to add a few reeds or something in the shore line areas, but just couldn't seem to get that part right. Maybe next time around?

Yeah, I tried to paint the reeds in, but it was bogging things down sooo badly, I had to give up on things like that :( Was seriously sluggish to even attempt painting anything. The time between clicking the mouse and waiting to "see" if it actually painted anything was just too much for this scene. Also, the issues were that, this was such a large scene that I am zoomed way in and trying to see exactly where you are really painting was almost impossible. So the only way I think to fix all that might be to NOT populate the rest of the eco FIRST and then paint the reeds and THEN populate the eco for everything else. Will try that next I guess and see what happens? The plan see, is to make an animation where the camera flies into the shoreline and then flies up and through the mountain. I'll try posting a better updated version today :)

Thanx all for the comments as well as the crits/suggestions :) And Drifterlee, I love you new little kitty, too cute! Go ahead and adopt the other one too and don't worry about it being 5 cats. I feel bad for the sister kitten.

This looked like a photo when I first saw the thumbnail ;) Very nice, and reeds can be a pain to get right. You'll get there :)
