Description

This is a photo that won a blue ribbon in the county fair this past fall. Since then I have added the border and a unsharpen filter in postwork. I didn't have the software or the knowledge then or I would have done better at the district level. Anyway the camera was a Canon Ellan IIe on Fuji 800 film. Thanks to everyone that has left such great comments. All comments or ideas are welcome. I, just like everyone else in this great community, I am a student of failures and success. I learn from the failures what could be done better and try to repeat the best parts of the success. Again all comments and critiques are welcome.

These were particularly large "grapes" I found growing in a local park. The grapes were about the size of the last joint of my thumb. We have red muskadines growing wild on some land we hunt on and they might get to be as big as the end of my pinky or the size of marbles.

Wonderful image and some of my favorite grapes when it comes to making wine. Ahhh, the sweetness! If I had to critique, I would say the only that it is a little flat due to not much info in the bright end of the histograms. A levels adjustment gives it a bit more "pop". But I do like the subdued feeling so I'm torn.
