Description
I would like to introduce you to Bandit aka "Bandy" or "Coyote", my companion and friend for 13 years. I lost Bandy yesterday to heart failure and it broke mine. These are family photos of our "Coyote" dog. I hope you can see his spirit, intelligence and warmth. He was a Shelty/Border Collie mix and quite a smart little fellow with a love for nature and mischief!
Gunsan posted an amazing portrait of Bandit last year:Gunsan
I would also like to thank Gwenolye/Realmofillusion for her special post this morning. Although she did not know me, or Bandit, I felt as if she had captured his spirit in her image and after communicating today, we both felt Bandit's spirit came through. She is an amazing artist of spirit and soul. House of the Spirit
Carol gave me such a beautiful gift with her artwork of Bandit. I am so touched by her thoughtfulness: Romanceworks
And a special thanks to Tara, Normy, Carol and Kurty for all their love and care.
A hug to all of you, and to your beloved animals. Jilly

Sorry about your dog. We lost ours a few years ago and it's not pleasant.

Oh Jilly, my heart aches .. how totally they give of themselves to us, how completely unjudgemental they are of us, how they love us no matter what we do or are. We have them for such short while, it seems, but what a blessing they are to our lives while they are entrusted to our care. I know your heartache, I've lost a few, and have some pretty big holes in my heart. Yet there's always room to love more. Bandit was a marvelous combination, Border Collie and Sheltie! Two of the most intelligent dogs, and he looks like he got all the best from each breed! God speed, Bandit.

No empty words will suffice...so, instead, a gargantuan, love and strength-filled embrace your way. I wish my arms were longer, (((Jill)))
