Description

"Take my love, take my land. Take me where I cannot stand. I don't care, I'm still free. You can't take the sky from me." ...sometimes you've just got to step back and take it all in. This one started out in Vue and then morphed into a matte painting of sorts as I started laying some rock detail into the foreground. Before I knew it, it was more Grand Canyon and Sedona pics than Vue render, but I still think it came out ok. For those that have inquired about a desktop image, I've created then in 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios and posted them on my site... Credit and thanks for the fabulously well detailed Serenity model goes to Sean Patrick Kennedy (Treybor): seansgallery.com. As always, thanks for looking and for all the great comments and critique!

Yup. They work really well together. Nice job. Love the guy out on the edge. The human scale really cinches it. Well, that and the lighting, OK, the human scale, the lighting and that really huge metal lightning-bug. Always good to remind people of a great, albeit brief, show.

Great integration between 2D and 3D, really convincing. I like the isolated figure, although small it stands out very well. Good job.
