Description

Hey everyone, it's been a while. Work and adjusting to my new life in northern California has kept me busy, but here's something new. It was a little tiring to make this one, not because of the details, but mainly because the mood is rather bleak. Hope you enjoy it nonetheless. Made in 3ds Max, rendered in Vray. www.jg-art.com Thanks for looking! Jason

I really like this! Maybe a little colorful flower in a small vase on the bar stool in the sunlight would help make it a little less bleak. 5.0 on this one!

Thanks for your comments. SeanATL, I agree, a flower on the stool or plants in other parts of the room would make it less bleak, but I was actually going for a bleak mood in this one. I'm writing an essay now on the symbolism and meaning behind this image. Hopefully when I get that finished it will help explain the bleakness...there's also a hint of beauty in this image. See if you can spot it. :)

I don't think it's bleak at all - it's superb! Stunning render. I love the mood of it, the feeling of quietness, the deatail, the light. Awesome work! It's good to see you back here:)

Really amazing. It's like im sitting in the room, looking at everything. Great light! I love how the patterns in the windows show up on the floor. And your use of objects is great, cinderblocks and a bottle of wine :-) I love this whole piece. -Sarah

Wonderfully or I should say mastefully captured of the mood. It has that 'this was great-grandma's house' feel to it.

el detalle es magnifico me parece como si la casa fuera abandonada hace mucho tiempo y se empieza a ver su expiracion de los objetos, excelente.
