Description

Angel in blue And as she stared out into nowhere I thought, yes, I thought she might break down and cry When I whispered I thought I could love her She just said "Baby, don't even bother to try" And I watched as she spoke Her words chilled my bones All her friends did her favors That were really just loans And she never had dreams So they never came true The palest of angels Angel in blue J. Geils Band Good Friday to all! I have not been able to get to comments due to some personal issues, and I look forward to viewing your work and emails over the weekend. I love the moonlight look to this. I keep staring at her, and my mind plays tricks on me. Her expression looks like she's yearning for someone, getting through a loss. Then I look again, and see a shallow, vacuous woman who is probably thinking about how good she looks in the moonlight. Back and forth. A fascinating and beautiful image!

Art can make us happy, it can also make us sad. For others there are no feelings felt either way, and yet there might be even one who not only can identify with the picture and its suggestion. So if confession is good for the soul, I am that person pictured here.

To me she looks lost in her feelings and very sad ... a sadness that colors everything in her world blue. As always your art touches my heart. CC

For some reason when I first lookes at this, I thought, she's drowning. And then I read the words, and yes, she is drowning, emotionally. Wonderful depiction of depression, beautifully and sensitively done.

Beautiful eyes... to me she looks like she is hiding in a dark corner but the light is starting to stream through and touch her hair...maybe that means hope too is arriving? Beautiful painting that really gets one thinking! Excellent work!! I hope all is well with you. :-)

Beautiful color work and the wings are magnificent. The mood I'll leave for another conversation, but I hope your world brightens up and I do my own. I suspect, like myself, your work springs from your mood, perhaps that is the plight of all artists. But this is wonderful work, where ever it comes from.
