Description

Blender is a fine SDS modeler and quite good in Booleans. However, there are more extensive surface and solid modeling packages. I was testing some of those with Blender and initially was scared how badly Set Smooth worked on them. Then I activated Auto Smooth and... Great results! Now, I can import almost any kind of geometry and it just works. All of these objects were done in different apps. I should have included curve done in Inkscape and extrude in Blender, but... You get the idea. Blender can be the nexus for all. Blender. Cool modeler, cool character animation tool and cool environment for scene creation. And completely free to boot. Life's good.

dont use booleans in blender- they dont usualy come out topologicaly correct- thus using subsurf or subdivide-smooth wont work on them. if you realy want booleans, try precedence on medium in indigo
