Description

Another view of Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem pub near Nottingham Castle. This has to be the only pub I know with its own lych gate...(like an old church). Maybe the tipplers of old considered their drinking an almost 'religious' experience....(in which case they would have a lot in common with the drinkers of today;-) Or maybe they just needed a bit of 'Dutch-courage' before they set off for the crusades;-)

Excellent homour and the building very well portrayed from this POV. It looks very bold in the B&W contrasting colours.
