Description
First art of the year and it seems to reflect my year so far.
We lost my father to a sudden illness on 12/27 and this has turned the whole family upsidedown. The grief of the loss and the stress of all we had to deal with triggered both severe depression in my soul and a exacerbation of my Multiple Sclerosis symptoms.
I've seen way too much of the emergency room this year so I took my turmoil out on a perfectly good, symetrical abstract and twisted the heck out the camera and the mirrored plains unitl I felt better!
Anyway, hope others are having a much better start to THEIR year!

Very sorry to hear pf your loss. A loved one passing leaves a hole in your universr that's never quite repaired. HUGS

Thanks Gav. Yes, he left a big hole in everyone's universe. He and my mom had been married 57 years and just this year he told me how he knew he would marry her someday when he was only 16. Said he'd marry her, and he did, three years later. She was the love of his life. Their marriage wasn't perfect, but damn they had a good long run, didn't they? As for me, I'm not really sure it has all sunk in yet because of the sudden refersals with my own health and trips to the ER, but I've been through the grieving process before. It's all been hard on the hubby too - they had gotten to be good friends in the last year. Sorry folks for the ramble - just trying to work thru it all the best I know how.
