Description
Shot from the west facing window as the jet to San Jose as the craft faced north. Flight from Huston Texas, some ways over Colorado or Utah. Shot with FinePix Fuji 602S at 500/sec. Autofix from Photoshop, employed to reduce atmospheric haze. I am no geologist but it looks somewhat calderic in this stretch with basaltic veins remaining from a few hundred million years of erosion.

What a cool shot. The colors are awesome and the shadows on the mountains really give it depth.

Thanks for taking the moment to comment! When autofix was used it shifted the browns more over to the blues slightly, but trust me the view from the window was spellbinding!
