Canon 50mm f1.8. Minimal post in photoshop. This is the first proper outing of my 50mm outdoors for more than just 10 or so shots, and i am really impressed with it. The quality straight from the cam is great, this picture has only had a minor levels and brightness contrast done to it and it doesnt differ too much from the original anyway - unlike a lot of photos i have worked with. Anyway - this is the first of the series of Raisin Weekend. Go check out the link for an explanation, but the summary is that people dress up and go and have a shaving foam fight in the university Quad. :) More to come - i just liked this shot as the girl (i dont know her) was looking straight at me when i took it and it picks her out of the crowd. It also gives an overall flavour of the procession into the quad, so you know what is coming.
