Description

Ok, this picture took way more work than I thought. I had the foresight to plan it out first, which was pretty brilliant of me! *cough* ... Ahem, anyway, the process is pretty simple, and I'm pretty sure I've seen Thromm do this before. I did one picture with just the faerie and the mushroom, then I deleted all that, and put in Steph. (Side note: she's scaled up to 600% ... lol.) Then, I took them both into Jasc PSP7, pasted the faerie part of the pic over the one with Steph, and just erased the top pic so that Steph showed through. Anyway, the point is, I planned it out in advance, and it turned out just as I hoped it would. :) Comments and criticisms (sp?) are always welcome!!

Thanks everyone! Honestly, I was so wrapped up in getting the layers to come out properly, that I never noticed the hair. I'll pay more attention to that next time. Thanks for the input. ;)

Lovely idea and well executed. I think what cauchy might have been refering to, is that the hair on the ladies doesn't seem to react to gravity very nicely or realistically. the fairy is lovely, but her pony tail should bend a bit more. Stephanie's hair is poking though her shoulders. The way I deal with poke through like that is to (once again) fix it in post. This is where a one pixel brush, a smudge tool and a lot of patience comes in really handy. Still, you get an A for effort and a B+ for execution, you are almost there, but might want to put a bit more work in.
