Description

This is a barn that we saw while traveling in northwest North Carolina. There are so many beautiful barns with the decorative plaques on them. Thank you for looking. Thank you again for all of your comments. :)

Wonderful shot and capture of the barn. Some of them are hard to get because they are too far off of the road, or the angle is not right for the sunlight. Great job, and thanks for giving us a view of the barn. HUGS!!!

That's interesting about the plaques. I hadn't heard of or seen them before. Years ago in the south - Georgia, I believe - an amusement park hired a painter to approach farm owners and offer to paint the roof of their barns. The catch - the amusement park logo was also painted on the roof. Apparently it became almost an icon down south. I read about it on the news a year or so ago when the guy who painted the roofs passed away. This seems similar in concept. I'd be interested in what you find out.
