This is awesome. Makes me think of this Russian novel, I believe by Chekhov... about mermaids. Brides, who died/drowned before their wedding, turned into mermaids. Great story, and very creepy too.

This scene is truly awesome! I love the way you have posed the mermaid on that rock, and the wather you have added around her looks so real! I also like that you have given her that wet-hair effect, it looks really natural when it's raining, and the rain you have made her looks perfect too :) Dark and mysterious colors gives this excellent picture the right mood :) Excellent work! vote
