Not to be picky or anything, but Nimitz was an admiral in WWII. There was no U.S.S. Nimitz until 1980ish. The CV-6 was the Enterprise. Nice image. Textures on foreground plane too low-rez, though.

I had to save the image as a gif. Otherwise the image it to big for renderosity. Also thanks for correcting the name.

atowne, if you have photoshop you can use the save as function and "save for the web". This will save the image and you can use .jpg and still keep the size down......

Nice Image,but Member "plmcelligott" is wrong. The name of the Aircraft-Carrier is "USS Essex" or CV-9.Built in 1942-1943. Sorry for correction.

Ship ID depends on one's interpretation of direction of ship (number orientation). I like the Corsairs.

thanks for the image quality advice. I changed the name of the image so now it is correct. Now i will readjust the planes. Thanks for all of your advice.
