Description

Everyone else seems to be using this excellent sand texture on mayday's free stuff, so I thought I'd give it a go. WM terrain (1024 for a change) post auto-contrast, sparpening, noise, diffuse glow and KPT Equalizer On 56k line atm - bb is down :( tfv&c!

Well, predictably, you have done it the best yet, but you have the advantage of hindsight construction... Awesome.

Looks great! I love the light and colour and the terrain you built. And it would be perfect as the background of the render I'm working on right now. Too bad that sand is for Terragen only and not for Vue ;)

This is just WRONG - I have beat myself to death to make a "perfect" dune foregronud like this and have gotten nowhere! (and I don't do overlays...)A big hats-off, my friend & thank you for showing that something "real" CAN be done!!!

Gorgeous sky and sand. I've seen the mayday sand texture used in 3 tg renders now...it's suprising how different the sand looks in each one. A beautiful render!

Excellent travail, la surface sable est magnifique. La distribution et le scale depth des surfaces sont parfaits !!! On dirait une image "Christian Fly" c'est pas peu dire !!!!

Simply marvellous in its austerity. Reminds me of our local sand dunes at |Merthyr Mawr. Not too much detail... in fact, just right. I guess I'll have to give it a go too.

This is exactly the proof that overlays can be use in a "reasonable" way, I mean natural looking. Excellent result.

The faster you go the harder the sand gets. Unless of course you are walking. Then it is just a swishey thing to avoid driving down and sinking.
