Description

Along the rushing water of the Lonza the track leads us closer to the glacier. The old side moraine on the right tells me this glacier has retreated like many other glaciers in the Alps. The weather is fine although the development of the clouds makes me alert on changes in the weather that could eventually lead to rain. But for now it looks well. Wow! You're sending chills down my spine thinking that you might cross this river. The waters must be ice cold temperature. The view is breathtaking. Hope the weather holds up for you two. Impressive capture. Aloha

You will excuse me if the Shofar does not answer the alpenhorn but only a song whispers from the stream sung in the voice of a man to perish in a ultralight crash. "Rocky Mountain High!!"

Arhhhhhhhhh a splendid panorama ! and this river is gorgious. So many glaciesr has retreated the last 10 years... it's the same everywhere, and not only in the Alps. It's so sad to think that they become as they was in centuries, and with our way of life and our mistakes, we are destroying them in a few years. Maybe in 20 years, we'll just seen some of them in books or old photographies as ours... That make me feel very sad, really. Thank your for your superb photographies of Mountains Jan-Carel, I love them !!!! V
