Description
Picked up Vue 5 Easel after seeing some of the artwork being done with it by others here. Excellent software for the price.

Lovely colours and a very good pov. It's a bit too dark, though. I think you used GI on this scene, which is why it it too dark. When I use GI, I reduce the sun's shadow strengh to about 75%, and add some softness to the shadows, about 4%, because in real life, shadows are never that black in the open air, unless the sun is setting. But I don't know if you can fine tune the lighting like this in Easel.

I agree with your assesment. I do not think Easel has that kind of lighting control, which is one of the reasons why I am looking to Esprit. For the $70 something for web download Easel is a great deal
