Description

Here's the Corsair I promised. This one was at an airshow here in Charleston,West Virginia back in 2000. It saw service in Korea and was assigned to two different aircraft carriers. If you look close, you can see that one of them was the Valley Forge. Regrettably, there hasn't been an airshow in our area since then.

I seen one of these do a fly over at an air show years ago and probably 280 mph and only 100 feet off the ground. the noise was quite impressive of the horsepower these planes have. excellent collage

The corsair is probably the most photogenic plane of the great war. The long nose and gull wings make for a beautiful plane. great referance for us modelers too.
