Description

Agradecimentos Especiais: A Eni Oken (BRA-USA): http://www.enioken.com/ A TroC (czarnyrobert), genial artista polonês: http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.ez?Who=czarnyrobert A Technocisual Ltd: http://www.technovisual.co.uk A Digital Dreams: http://www.digitaldreams.sk/index.htm English version (Free Translation): Sinopsis The Labyrinth of Sandmann I. (Version 02 07 of September of 2005) The image is part of a project of research hipermídia in the Catholic University of São paulo - Brazil (PUC-SP): NuPH - Nucleus of Researches in Hipermedia. Treats-itself of a preparatory study for the modeling of an interactive threedimensional environment. She propose a Forest Labyrinth, in which the magical elements of the nature itself melange with the imaginary cultural one of the man, to the way of the thought of Martin Heidegger in "World, finitude and loneliness". The image inaugurates a reflection topofilosophical of the question of the strange one (Unheimlich) relating it with the Dasein in the output of world (here, the case of many digital worlds). Aspects of the Construction: Environment: The threedimensional modeling was carried out with the Vue 5 Infinite (marvelous software) utilizing to technical of modeling of trees SolidGrow and the trial of texture-system: EcoSystem. The Labyrinth was raised (served of Layer for the Ecosystem) from a layer in format JPG - produced in the PhotoShop CS, from a Labyrinthes plants study.

Great scene, colours & models. Needs more anti aliasing though, and less bump on the oranges.

I especially like the cube/sphere obect. It resembles the style of the puzzle cube from the movie "Hellraiser", one of my favorites. I'd really like to see this object in a scene alone in order to fully appreciate the details. The whole scene is fantastic. Is surreal the word I'm looking for? I like this style very much. It gets my imagination going. Thanks for sharing it. Persevere...:)
