The Renderosity Gallery of the Week for June 27, 2016, is the

Maya Gallery

Maya is the emperor of 3D applications and has been for some time now. Created and developed by Autodesk, Maya has such depth and functionality that users have been able to create digital works of art that are utterly original. The Maya Gallery at Renderosity shows off the power of this remarkable application. Spend ten minutes in the gallery and you'll see everything from Pixar-like characters to renders of scenes that are so realistic you think that perhaps NASA released them as a publicity photo. Our splash image (Opus Premier by stuzzi ) is a wonderful example of the kinds of complex modeling and superb rendering that can be created with Maya.

Be sure to visit the Maya forum at Renderosity.com if you want to learn more about this fantastic program (along with the Maya page at Autodesk). Also, be sure to visit the Maya Gallery itself to view the truly excellent work being shared there.
