For the week of October 26, 2015 (Halloween!) we are doing something a little different. Guest Halloween expert and author, Lisa Morton, has chosen 12 Halloween-themed artworks from all of the Renderosity Galleries.

Halloween-themed images are plentiful in the Renderosity.com galleries. Just do a search for "Halloween" in the main gallery page and you'll come up with literally hundreds of images all on the theme of Halloween. My good friend, Lisa Morton, author of the "Halloween Encyclopedia" and "Trick or Treat: A Haunted History of Halloween" was nice enough to search through the renderosity galleries and come up with her favorite 12.

Halloween has always been my favorite of holidays and I look forward to it every year. The Halloween art at Renderosity brings back a lot of memories with may artists focusing on traditional themes like pumpkins, scary monsters, haunted houses and witches. I really like the fact that so many artists at Renderosity enjoy creating Halloween-themed imagery and do it so well!

This piece reminds me of the Halloween paintings Norman Rockwell did, but he never did one set at night against a full moon! With the blowing leaves and the slight haze in the air, this does a great job of capturing the seasonal magic of Halloween, and the posture of the young lady tells us that she's loving it, too.
