Is there something equivalent to the eye dropper tool in ZBrush? I tried the manual, but must have missed it. I am using ZBrush 1.23B demo

Yes, there is! Click on the foreground or background color box, hold, and drag out onto the canvas. Your cursor will become a crosshair circle. Whatever color is under the cursor when you release will be selected. Bear in mind, though, that this is unshaded color (in other words, the color before materials are applied). To select a material the same way, click and hold on the larger material icon (the one that shows the currently selected material) and drag out. It works the same way as for color. You can also do the same thing with the small squares in the Picker palette.
