Zombies "Touching" Image creation tools: Poser Pro 2012 and Photoshop 7. Time: Off and on over a week period. While I love zombie movies, they have gotten predictable. So, I decided on a different spin. I based the image on a short story I wrote based on a current event with NASA and now Germany. Here's a synopsis: A satellite falls back to Earth after being hit during a meteor shower. The meteorite lodged in the satellite contains bacterial spores which are spread over a region California when the satellite crashes. The spores get into the ground water and spread into graves and wells. The bacteria has a unique characteristic in that it creates a symbiotic relationship with the host once they reach the nervous system, activating and cloning neurons. The shorter period of time the person has been dead the more cognitive abilities they have. They awaken with a hunger and thirst. The zombies with limited cognitive abilities see everything as food. A family evacuates due to the zombie apocalypse and get into an automobile accident. They awaken on a farm. They are being hunted and must travel at night when it's safe. Everyone seems to be the enemy. Over several days they realize they all died in the car crash and while they weren't bitten by zombies they had been infected from the drinking water and are now zombies with full human cognitive abilities. But their bodies are drying up due to the bacteria's thirst. The military tracked the family to a mausoleum in which they are hiding. The father is attempting to shield his family and everyone is "touching", they are filled with an outward fear and don't want to die. The soldier has shot his daughter in the head and has him in his sights ...
