Renderosity would not be what it is now if it wasn't for-- not only our members-- but also our staff. Every month we will be spotlighting a member of staff that is performing to the best of their abilities and someone who goes above and beyond for the community.
Â
August staff spotlight is: Lobo3433 (Jose)

Staff: What makes you so passionate about helping our members?
Jose: What makes me really enjoy helping our members is the sense of community that has been built here at Renderosity. I have not come across this in any other forum I participate in or, am a member of so Renderosity’s uniqueness is what drives me on and wanting to help in the areas I can.
Staff: How much time do you spend on the site per day?
Jose: I might spend initially at the start of my day from an hour to perhaps two and then then periodically checking in throughout the day that by the end of my day I might have spent close to 4 hours a day on the site.
Â
Jose: I have been a member since Jan 2003 and I came across the site after visiting a Flea Market found a 3D art magazine with a free CD version of Poser 3 which piqued my interest. I went online looking up more information on this software and came across the amazing galleries here at Renderosity and that’s how I came to Renderosity.
Â
Staff: What art do you dabble in?
Jose: Prior to finding Poser honestly I did not dabble in any art at all. Heck even taking art class in junior and high school scared me since I couldn’t even draw a straight lined stick figure. But as my professional career grew and providing support to a few graphic design businesses I became familiar first with Photoshop and from learning how to resolve tech issue I started to explore actually using the software and one of users who I used to provide support for often told me about Bryce and so my first image I ever uploaded to my gallery is a Bryce and Photoshop render. Is not the greatest but that is where I started. Now I am often using Photoshop, Blender, Bryce and a few others that I still continue to learn in.

Staff: What’s your favorite aspect of being a moderator?
Jose: I am still a new moderator only having taken on the duties a few months ago. I feel that my favorite aspect of being one is that I have earned the trust of the fulltime staff of Renderosity and that of the members in the forums I monitor. That when the members ask a question in my forums they know they will get the best possible answer and information to help them continue growing as artist. Their belief in me makes my day.
Â
Staff: What makes you so drawn to Renderosity?
Jose: The sense of community. Yes Renderosity is a business but a business that really listens to its clients provides a venue that is not only commercial but a place to hang out learn and socialize. Reminds me of like the local watering hole where you can sit down spend a little time yet come away with a lot more.
Congratulations Jose and thank you for being a part of our team!
