Read all about it on page 10. Also, if you are a RIM subscriber, be sure to read about our up-coming Readers Choice Award. For those wishing to brush-up on their CG skills, this issue is overflowing with tutorials and articles on a variety of software applications, as well as product reviews. Our Legends of Art series, features an interview with fantasy artist Anne Sudworth. For pure enjoyment, dont miss Ann Posts personal essay on art and artists. Richard D. Farley shares his secrets of becoming a published novelist. Weve also included a bonus section on this years SIGGRAPH conference. This issue of The RIM also brings with it several magazine staff changes. I have stepped into my new role as Media/Content Developer. Karl Heller is taking over the role of Editor in Chief of the magazine. Dianne Parham, while retaining her role of Senior Editor, has also taken on the responsibilities of managing The RIMs website. To add to these changes, we have three new team members: Diana Hilliard, Chris Tuttle, and Peggy Walters. If you have artwork or an idea for an article, please send us a brief explanation of the article and/or a link to your artwork. Also, starting with the next issue, we will be featuring letters to the editor, so please send your questions and queries to us right away.
