Mousecapades by Wendy C. Eld (coa)Wendy, what is your inspiration for the beautiful scenes you create? Life is my inspiration for all The Mousecapades. Many of the things "the guys & girls" do, I also did as a child, i.e. sledding, ice skating, snowball fights, going to school, slumber parties, drive ins. Other scenarios I have seen in my wanderings, read in books, seen in movies or on TV. Anything else you would like to add? I just finished rendering the 165th Mousecapade last night *eeek* and "the guys & girls" are now happily exploring the world of Fairy Tales to add to the rest of their adventures. Book 4 ("A Mouse's Guide To Travel")is finished and I am about halfway through Book 5 ("A Mouse's Guide To Fairy Tales") which will have stories with the pictures.
