2015 POSER Tutorial Series
We here at Renderosity are excited to continue to
offer our members the opportunity to further their knowledge of the
POSER Software.
Last January we announced our collaboration with industry veteran,
Mark Bremmer, who worked to guide both new and experienced POSER
users through various aspects of this powerful tool. As we begin a
New Year - we'd like to invite all of you to continue to build upon
those skills taken from last year's tutorials.
Lesson 19: Metal & Grunge
Learn cool techniques to age metal and scenes you already have. This tutorial has three grunge-y micro-lessons. 1. Scene content you purchase may have great texture maps or just mediocre maps. But you don’t have to settle for only what you have. In this tutorial, we learn how to take existing textures such as brick walls and add grunge near the ground to improve realism. 2. We also examine ways to intentionally apply defects to smooth reflective surfaces to make them more believable. While we do this with metal, it can also be done with glass. 3. Finally, we create a decaying steel wall with rust and chipped paint that goes way beyond simply applying a picture in the Diffuse channel.
