In the healing hands of Doctor Amanda Crowley, Mayor Michael Marty is resting comfortably in stable
condition today after bravely fighting off an unprovoked attack by deranged, crazed marijuana addicts
while tending his blue ribbon flower habitatuary.
"Please stay off The Mary Jane," Mayor Marty reminded the readers of Bristol Today. "It is a gateway drug.
The last gateway you'll see is the prison bars slamming shut behind you. And please remember to shelter in
place and only leave your home with your weapons loaded until our officers have apprehended my attackers.

He puts on a brave face, though I've noticed that things have gone from "go about your normal routine" to "stay inside unless you have to leave and then only well armed." seems next step might be "now would be a good time to panic" But do we really want Dr Mandy treating people? It hasn't escaped my notice that this mess started when she came to town and with someone she'd just treated.

She's running fearful experiments, I know it! Nevertheless, I think our good mayor has seen Reefer Madness one too many times. Mind you, zombies seem to get the munchies, so there may be a connection.
