This is the Manta, the design is not my creation, this took me almost a week on and off.

Bassed on a painting in a book called "Spacecraft 2000 to 2100AD" by Stewart Cowley.

The book is presented in the style of a documentry as if all the ships are real, so whoever painted the image the artist isnt credited.

Very nice and very close to the image I have of this vessel. Cover art of I.C.E.s Space Master suplement for their Star Strike games Vessel Compendium 2 which accredits the cover art to a Walter Velez (though have found the exact same picture for Bob Layzell (though mirrored) through an internet search. Guess ICE may have mucked up.

Still very good work and GREAT textures. Keep it up.

Thanks guys, and your right it does say the names, I've had that book over 20 years and never noticed that before!

I'll see what I can do about making another scene with a few of these ships.
