Another iteration on the same gorge, inspired by M.C. Escher's lithograph "Town in Southern Italy", 1930.
Adding more and more detail around the gorge, and a new POV to bring it all "in". It's getting onerous - now 162MB and Bryce needs a 400MB partition to open the file. Probably 50% of the detail is out of view in this image. Still, most enjoyable modeling! [ed: Except the imported arch blocks I made in Carrara, it's 100% Bryce (priimitives, most multi-replicated, for example the stairs).]

What tha......... How did you make this? This is stunning - wait, hold on a minute, I gotta vote for this one. There. Now with that done, this is absolutely wonderful. Tremendous detail and excellent textures. This gets my vote and the highest ranking of Excellent available.

This is AWESOME and you made a great work!!! Well, I live in southern Italy and I've never seen anything like this. Who cares.... Just let me say that everything's absolutely stunning and inspiring...: buildings, POV, MATS and lights. Very well done. Congrats.:o) - Carlo.
