| Based on USS Monadnock, with a flat deck and shallow draft this is a very odd looking ship and cant have been very seaworthy, it would probably have sunk at the merest sign of rough seas but it makes for an interesting model. Took 4 days start to finish and because of the total lack of blueprints it was modeled by eye using only 3 reference pics. Comments welcome... |

Great looking model! I am not sure how the bottoms of these where built but the wide shallow draft is a hallmark of the battleship designs that proved to be very stable. | |
