Brused and beaten
I look in the mirror
And I don’t even know who it is
Its been such a long road to here
And I don’t even know where here is
I hear voices in my dreams
Of my friends who have gone before me
I am ashamed
Not of what I have done
But what I haven’t done
I wasted my life
And now its to late to change that
Soon they will lay me in the earth
Not a single soul will shed a tear
I have made no difference
In anyone’s life
And that is a sin
