This shot was on a stormy Sunday, just gone, and is the closest shot I've got yet of one flying. (Give me time. I will get closer!)
It was taken at RAF Waddington, England. It was supposed to be their biggest Airshow of the year but the weather kinda stopped that. Took loads of what I could though. You'll have to let me know what you think....

It reminds us not to trust innovation in our time. I once was told about an Israeli innovation to put a rear view mirror on the top canopy bow faired in. Wanna guess what that is on top of this one? Yup!

What a great "Hurri" shot. It could easily be a calendar pic. 5+

A taxiing Spitfire collided with a Hurricane at a Galveston airshow in April or May of this year. Serious damage to both, but repairable. You can google up an pic of the aftermath. OUCH!

I always feel cheated that today's pilots wear today's headgear- spoils the shot a bit. Don't they have the authentic headgear anymore??? Really great shot, BTW!
