2008 is in the books, and we are celebrating another year of quality and professionalism throughout the community. Starting last year, we began awarding top performers in the Renderosity MarketPlace in addition to the Vendor of the Year award we have given away for some time. With 2009 upon us, it is time once again to recognize those who rose above their peers to the top of their respective categories. Any vendor is eligible to win, new and old. Each award is explained in full to give an idea of what it takes to be included for the yearly awards. Vendors cannot win in multiple categories in the same year. | Vendor with the highest sales for 2008. It's no secret: give people what they want, and they will always come back for more. The Vendor of the Year continually provides a multitude of products that are almost always in want by the digital art community. We always welcome new faces to the MarketPlace, but it can be tough to become quickly successful in such a large market of professional vendors providing top quality products. Countess displayed her talent for creating quality content immediately, and we are proud to have her start up and immediately begin offering popular products in the MarketPlace. | ||||

| Individual item with the highest revenue for 2008. Creating a product that is both high quality AND in high demand can be tricky. Renderosity vendor Blackhearted is a master at this craft. It takes a lot of hard work and a knack for knowing what the masses want, and he has an uncanny ability for anticipating the needs of the marketplace. We believe that the products in our MarketPlace not only reflect back on vendors such as Blackhearted, but on Renderosity as well.
