Renderosity Gives $2.5 Million Dollars to Art Community

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) July 17, 2007 - Renderosity announced today that in honor of their Digital Art Community's brand new site design and updated logo they are awarding more than 516,000 current Renderosity members with a $5.00 Renderosity Reward, giving $2,580,000.00 to the community.
Every two years, the Renderosity Artist Community hosts a community wide graphics contest to find a new look that best represents this creative community. The winner of the 2007 Renderosity Graphics Contest was Janne Pitkänen [ToxicAngel].
Janne Pitkänen has been a long time member of Renderosity and has received numerous awards and recognition for his work, including 2002 Artist of the Month, 2002 Renderosity Artist of the Year, Art Charts Favorite Artist, Art Charts Favorite Image, Featured Artist on the Best of Renderosity DVD. Having also won the 2001 Renderosity Graphics Contest, Janne is the only artist to be selected twice to represent this diverse and dynamic digital art community.

Renderosity was created by artists, for artists and provides a productive environment that encourages an atmosphere of community, respect, collaboration, and growth for graphic artists, digital artists, animators, photographers and writers of all backgrounds and levels. The community's desire to share and help each other have contributed heavily to Renderosity's phenomenal growth from a hand-full of members in 1998 to over 513,000 members today.
