A real quickie! I started this one yesterday as an attempt to model a dog nose. After that it just grew into this, some sort of snarling beast in a helmet (don't ask...). It reminds me a bit of those heavy metal covers from the 80's, actually, like the cover art for Iron Maiden or maybe Motörhead.

I consider this done for now but comments and criticism is always welcome!

Looks terrific. Reminds me the alien monster as well. The tape covering its eyes gives it a bigger wild appearance.

Very nice! Very very well done! Only one problem: why isn't it wearing a Marine Corps Drill Instructor's campaign cover (aka hat)? It looks just like one of my D.I.s from boot camp....

Now i know i feel i have come to know the meaning of blind rage. I like the message.
I been modeling dog noses lately as well.
Very real in a surreal kind of way.

Excellent model, how you can do this in such a short time is beyond me. One small crit, the specular sheen gives everything a plasticy feel including the helmet which I guess is metal. The teeth though are truly evil.

Thank you people, glad you liked it! Lynne: Yes, the drool is modeled. CloudNine: The specular on the skin is intentional as I wanted to give it an unreal appearance. The helmet could use a different specular, though, I agree :)

Oh, I just realized that constructure's comment is a much better name for the image! When I publish it on my website it will be called "Blind rage" :)
