The composition, color palette, overall style, and most of the execution are great. Suggestions on execution details: The muscle/tendon lines in her throat are a little deep and sharp. They look angular, for flesh. The color of the cleavage edges, where her tunic meets her chest, fade into the color of her flesh so much that those edges look like scars or unbleeding flesh. Also, the necklace or whatever that descends under her top, near her right breast (to viewer's left), seems to only partly emerge near her left breast. This looks odd to me. Her left forarm looks weird at the upper joint with her bicep. I believe that this is due to a contradiction between the inner (viewer's left) curve of the forearm muscle, at the elbow joint, and the black joint-crease line (coming in from viewer's right)are contradictory. Seems to me that the forearm muscle's curve should blend into the elbow, then flow into the back of her upper arm (tricep?), from our angle of view. Otherwise, as stated above, really cool image! Moody, ominous, and powerful. | |
