I love the conceptual design of the vehicles, wonderful way you've established their scale with atmospheric perspective, and the nice lighting. The cool and neutral palette is appealing, and gives the piece a detached, lonely mood. The triangular composition gives a good sense of movement and heaviness to the craft. The only elements that seems off to me are the planets in the sky- they seem to be floating inside the atmosphere of the planet we're on. Generally, the shadowed side of the planets would fade out to the color and tone of the skies atmospheric haze, unless they are being powerfully backlit by another sun, or the reflected light from our foreground world. In which case, the image is technically correct, but doesn't "read" as effortlessly as the rest of the image. You may want to give some other cues to "justify" their lighting. Now, all that said, it is a minor point compared to the evocative impact and technical interest of the hardware. Really nice work!

I love this work of your's as well. I'm adding it to my fav's. I know you build your models in using another program. TrueSpace I believe? You make it look so easy. You show the to models don't need to be so complex and still look good. I've been looking for a modeling program. Maybe I should give Truespace a look. +5

This is an extremely well done image, beautifully composed and presented. I like the hazy blues in this, as well as the cold, metallic tones of the trucks themselves. Great vehicular modeling, fantastic atmosphere. The sense of haze and forlorn "alienness" is superb. My only critique would be with the moons; they're beautifully done and quite superb, but with the nearer objects somewhat obscured and "washed out" by the atmospheric haze, the moons should be a wee bit less distinct. I don't see this as a flaw in the image at all; in fact, I like the effect, but it's a bit jarring as well...having said that, this is most definitely a 5+++++ image. Great work.
