Description
One for us Girls!
Please view full size; it is big.
This is for my new friend gloriatanta who has been doing beautiful portraits of fairy important people in her own unique and magical style. I love so much of Tanta's work but "Golden" is a real favourite. Tanta also is a lover of mythology and so I devote this well-built Mesopotamian God to her.
This is the second of four portriat style images of the main characters in the upcoming Ishtar and the Quest for Knowledge series. Again I have upgraded the character from M3 to M4 and changed his look quite a bit - he is more overtly muscular, he's got hair and overall I find him more beautiful for sure.
Isimud was the vizier for Enki, God of Wisdom and Grandfather to both Ishtar and Ninshubar. Isimud was unique amongst all the Gods in his ability to freely travel between the living world and the land of the dead, for among other duties he was the royal messanger. Previously we saw how Enki used Isimud's gift when he sent Isimud to the underworld to negotiate the freedom of Ishtar and her good for nothing husband, Tammuz.
Isimud also had gifts of magic and he commanded Enki's army of minions and demons, as we shall see in this forthcoming episode.

Beautiful Work!
Superb job Roxy! Excellent post-work and nice work on that background too.
Oh Roxy!!! He is stunning!! We can feel how strong and powerful he is. And those eyes are killer! The background is perfect for a God. Thanks for linking my "Golden" and for the compliments. You're so kind! Gosh! I'm so flattered and glad! Thank you again, my new friend. Take care Love and hug Tanta
awesome work
First off, you're right - zooming in really helps the viewer get the best impact. A really cool character. Love the guy pics too. He looks like a young somewhat brash young man. Excellent eyes - really piercing in the zoom view. Wonderful lightning effects. Great story too - you have a wonderful gift at telling such great stories. Very cool.
Very nice. Love the outfit and the background.5+

This is a real good looking god.... but then... aren't they all?? LOL The outfit looks right on him also. You have taken on a mighty task and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Wow, what a great looking male character - not too many of them around, nice to see somebody working on them! I particularly like the facial morphs on this guy - very realistic looking!
Oh my, he is hot... nice eyes~
Great character!
LOL! Ugly old Isimud must be grinning like a fiend at you for making him this handsome, but then you are allowed to take a bit of "artistic license" if it's to the god's benefit, right? Seriously, though, this is an impressive portrait and teaser. Love your choice of textures and props here. The evolution of these characters is blowing me away.
