Description
*I'm a portionless princess,
you said
but when I want
I can be so cute...
Don't be this mean,
I'll never gonna be
your tasteless portrait
of a popsy-wopsy
having her rippin good time like this...
You said,
you say...
You never talk with me,
just with my imagine flat:
I feel like a porcelaine doll,
so cute,
so mute,
while you put me on
that rightful dress,
and choose me rigid espaces
and gift me with only stress.
I'm in a corner,
protecting me from your dust
and my lips and nails want your blood
to finally feel a sense in this kind of life...
Your porcelaine doll
you've hurt too much,
yes, this puppet blonde's got
a flaming darker side...
I'm in a corner, not out of grace,
I'm searching gates
to put myself into sweet and risky games.
Beware, up there, I'm not down to you...
You think I'm belonging,
but if any,
well I don't to you.*

Keep going on with my old 96/98 Poems, the image for this one might have suited also the February theme, Colour Language and that's why I did include it in.
My study of colour focuses on the language of white, red and black. The effect is meant to be strong and flashy, without vibes of just glam, but with a sense of anguish and icy-cold pain extruding by the composition and colour interaction.
An impression of tension in stasys, thanx to red magenta tone, that should symbolize the part of the poem that sound battling and fierce, while black and white give the drama of opposite balancing.
Let me know what the colour scheme suggests to your interpretation, too.
Ops... I was about to forgetting apologies cos I reckon I have been vacant again... snow in Italy, travel in Florence AND updating my site (that is done finally!) took me a certain time away *sigh*...But I'll watch your art I have left behind now, don't worry :)
Hugs, Meli :)

Wonderful to see a new post from you, dear!
Wonderful works !
A high impact image and poem.
Very strong work - Kansas said it best: high impact. BTW like how you've used text within the image as a graphic element. Bravo.
Fantastic work of art. Especially like the way the colors fight each other, but also work together to get your message across.

A beautiful poem and artwork to match.
I came by earlier but got lost at the link at your site to view all your new photos. I thought you changed your hair and I would say that it looked more Italian but less Meli. So, as I went through your site all went well then I went to leave and a pop-up black whole happened, my pop-up zapper died and I had 60 windows open in IE before a minute was up. Anyways, the dark you is cool too, like a character. A spy. I was entrigued. The poem is full of contempt trapped in silence, I will hug and kiss its subject and make it better. All my hugs dear Mel.

I guess it was not easy to know how to work out the original photography. Still, it has been done in a fine way. Your work on the colors effects is interesting indeed. They're "powerful". I mean they're the big point in the image. Well. Still not helpful comment, i guess. I can just say i appreciate this illustration. Congrats.
I like the work you present here. But even more I enjoyed the source photos from the link you provided us with. It seems you are going into a very interesting direction of sensual self-presentation. I am curious where your journey will lead you to...

Powerfully graphic! It refuses to be ignored! Also, I enjoyed the photos. Especially the Cure and Manson ones.
Incredible. I love the image, but the poem go deeply in my soul.
A really good image with a deep insightful verse that would be good to use as a warning. I hear what you say about self protection in realtionships.
