Description
*I'm a portionless princess,
you said
but when I want
I can be so cute...
Don't be this mean,
I'll never gonna be
your tasteless portrait
of a popsy-wopsy
having her rippin good time like this...
You said,
you say...
You never talk with me,
just with my imagine flat:
I feel like a porcelaine doll,
so cute,
so mute,
while you put me on
that rightful dress,
and choose me rigid espaces
and gift me with only stress.
I'm in a corner,
protecting me from your dust
and my lips and nails want your blood
to finally feel a sense in this kind of life...
Your porcelaine doll
you've hurt too much,
yes, this puppet blonde's got
a flaming darker side...
I'm in a corner, not out of grace,
I'm searching gates
to put myself into sweet and risky games.
Beware, up there, I'm not down to you...
You think I'm belonging,
but if any,
well I don't to you.*

Keep going on with my old 96/98 Poems, the image for this one might have suited also the February theme, Colour Language and that's why I did include it in.
My study of colour focuses on the language of white, red and black. The effect is meant to be strong and flashy, without vibes of just glam, but with a sense of anguish and icy-cold pain extruding by the composition and colour interaction.
An impression of tension in stasys, thanx to red magenta tone, that should symbolize the part of the poem that sound battling and fierce, while black and white give the drama of opposite balancing.
Let me know what the colour scheme suggests to your interpretation, too.
Ops... I was about to forgetting apologies cos I reckon I have been vacant again... snow in Italy, travel in Florence AND updating my site (that is done finally!) took me a certain time away *sigh*...But I'll watch your art I have left behind now, don't worry :)
Hugs, Meli :)

You look cool. Great design. The postwork you did in such a short time. I like the color of the poem's font, and your porcelaine look. ...-PEace/Jeff :-)
A CLASSIC and good to have you back dear!
Very striking indeed! Your words are amazing as always and this stark piece suits it so well :) Thank you for creating and sharing my friend hugs
I like the poetic variety that I see in your works; the poetry you composed here fits quite complementary with the image style you rendered. Very tasteful....
I don't know what I like the best, lol! It is all so amazing! I feel a deep sense of rejection and frustration from the poem, and the image is very penetrating and commanding! You look very pretty with black hair by the way! But what I liked a lot is your explaining everything you have done here. You do it with such eloquence! Excellent presentation Meli! Hugss! :)V
Wonderful work and poem. I hope you are doing fine, Best.
i love it...beautifull as always meli...hugs and kisses...expressive poem..sexy background shot..red...pasion..excellent
Love the hard colour, pose and attitude of this. I can imagine this as a short movie, with black, red and white splinters of images and with your voice reciting the poem in soft tones (in French, Italian and English at the same time). But maybe we don't need the movie as we have his powerful image?
I feel your words, you are a beautiful and very talanted person!Excellent the way you express yourself and your art!hugs*
ledaVOTEVOTE****** E' TALMENTE BEN FATTO CHE SEMBRA UN LAVORO DA RIVISTA EXCELLENT ARTWORK SUPER COMPLIMENTS BRAVAAAA *BY

stunning perfection
Very excellently presented imagery and poetry!! :)
nice image very evocative words!
I really like this poem...it has got a great tempo to it. Excellent image too! Very sexy stuff!
Suppressing by praising... the destiny of women? Happily the lady in the picture sees through such praisals! She leaves the ideas of porcelain doll behind, and proudly makes her destiny by herself! :-) Great picture with striking well fitting colours. This is a praise for a self-confident woman. Amazing work, Meli! :-)
Wonderful composition and poem ! You are also very beautiful with dark hair:) I like very much the colors and the effects of your image, very original and superbly realized !!
wonderful work!!excellent!!!
Great Poem. Good picture.
the poem suits the picture (and vice versa) extremely well - blended together harmoniously and at the same time - as a vivid cross-section of a true reality, pain & anger and the rising of hope - love it !
Very nice picture, suited well the mood of your lovely poem! -- B.B.
Lavoro eccezionale, Meli, l'immagine si adatta bene al senso della poesia, e le parole sono molto acute, sembrano rasoio sulla pelle, si sente lo stesso fresco bruciore di quando ci si fa la barba... Molto intenso. Un bacione. Diego :o)
Brilliant composition!!! Beautifully done!!!
hey there meli. You work is always so touching and personal. I appreciate your work so much. I feel like i know you...the artist you very well. Thank you for your power.
Excellent composition and poem,wonderful work!!!:o)v
It's ALWAYS a treat to stop by and see your work, Meli. Such care and multi-faceted talent in every post. A true artist creates not with only images but with their words and emotions and this work conveys your ideas VERY well. The red for the heated feelings and the b&w reflects the "sterile" vibe of the "porcelein doll". VERY well done!
Splendid romanticism. Bravo!!!!
