Description
*It's here again:
the day devoted to all my scaring doubts,
the day when everything has the shape
of a misleadin demon ready to eat me out.
It's here, and I do tremble on my unstable legs,
I'd rather pass today like corpse in my own bed...
But I have to move,
even if I have no idea how to surface
out from my fears,
out of my mistrusts.
The door of this room is like the end of a tunnel,
an eye of black cat with just dim light out of its pupil:
but I do wanna fight
and reach my balance back...
I know I'm maybe falling,
but there's no other way round there.
For all I wanna say,
for all I wanna be
there are 1 million more
of days just like this:
but for all I wanna say,
and for all I wanna be,
there's just one choice to take,
and it's to fight the fear.*

When I firstly created the image for "Balance Of My Day" I tried to find a model for the idea I had in mind to illustrate it, but nothing seemed to fit the plan as I would have loved so I just decided to draw in photoshop,this image you can see here as alpha version.
But this poem was too personal to let an unpersonal image fits the memory I still have of "those kind of bad days". And so I created again a Beta version of the image, that I present you now.
It's what I had in mind since the start for this poem. I think it's an image that stays within my head since 96, when I actually wrote that poem. Now I think fears have definitely faded out.
But no one can really predict the future, so this image stays as image of what I don't wanna feel like anymore.

Wow this poem mirrors the night I had.. and the image Wow.. I had such a dread feeling all last night..a cold fear just washed over me..and I couldn't understand where it came from. Just maybe we get this way now and again.. because of our mortality. Beautifully done sweety.

im certain now that one day my fears will get the best of me, i just keep putting that day off. its cyclic, a downward spiral that appear to eddy upward now and then...dangerous battles which must be fought but its seldom your pick. -=Such emotion stirs in me from this. truly wonderful work! vote ++add++ big hugs :)(:
