And, believe it or not, I like your colour scheme ;-) The salmon pink of your skin compliments your blonde hair perfectly now... I say it's yours because that has to be a self-portrait ;-) The red is bright against the other colours but this time I don't mind this at all as it's perfect for the summer season: for me this painting really evokes a warm sunny day with the relief of a cooling breeze. It's funny as you seem to have far better colour-sense with oils than you do with your digital works... still, this will come with practice too. I really feel a little unworthy of giving this painting some critique as it's not an area I work in and haven't even touched my acrylics for several years. I do know Ale will adore it and your friendly sentiment comes through perfectly! I know everyone says this but you do truly shine darling and all your friends feel honoured to have you in their lives... I certainly do hugs :-)
