Beautiful painting... and dedication.

Oh...the breath catches in my throat. She is so beautiful and free...what a touching, precious tribute, I just know that Alessandro's house will be the brighter for having this grace its walls. You already know how I feel about the mood expressed in this piece, but just know that it is perfect, and I feel it as well. Bellissimo! (I hope I got that word right) ;)

I like the background, especially the leafs of the tree. The hair of the female with the red dress, the left one, looks like she might want to use some shampoo. It's the way you painted it, it's kind of as if she's got glue in her hair. The eyelashes in the close up are a little bit too thick... you're a woman, you use mascara, you know those Maybelline commercials, what do they always tell you??? ;) The eyelashes just aren't as much impressionistic as the rest of the scene. Maybe you could've painted it a bit more as one piece or used a smaller brush.
