Description
I'm still doing a lot of work on the yacht - getting cameras, lights, etc. placed where I want them. It's almost ready - it's a big yacht.
I'm still fighting off a bit of depression, but it's getting a little better - at least I feel like doing some artwork. They're coming out Monday morning to start the work on my sewer replacement. They tell me it will take 2 days, but they won't leave me overnight with no sewer facilities. That would be awkward. It's going to be awkward enough as it is... I have no idea how they're going to get equipment into my backyard since my neighbor is being such an asshole. I guess they'll figure it out. For 10K bucks, they should be able to.
Anyway, once this is overwith, maybe my stress level will go down a bit, and I can start some of the other things I need to do to get this place ready to sell. And maybe even do some artwork.
Here I thought retirement was going to be fun and relaxing. Silly me... That's what I get for thinking - gotta stop doing that..

I hope things go well with the repairs and you can relax, soon. Try to think on how much easier it will be to sell after the sewer lines are in perfect shape.
You will be so glad when it is done! I hate the actual process of having work done, it's so stressful--but so nice to have it done! Melanie is in the best place--I wish I was there too! We have 3 new inches of snow today :p
Well I hope the sewer work goes smoothly, it's not the sort of thing you want to hit unexpected glitches! I wish I was on that yacht with her, she looks as of she's enjoying herself and no surprise there!

An absolutely wonderful render, Rod. So crisp. She's lookin' mighty pleased with herself :) Hope the sewer work goes well--you will feel lots better once that's completed. The contractors should dump the old sewer line into your neighbors yard. He's given you enough crap so give a little of your crap back at him. Not nice, I know, but I'm sure it would be very gratifying.

Life throws a spanner every one and then, Rod. Just gotta to roll with it. Just enjoy your retirement, but be prepared for those spanners. I think after Tuesday once the whole thing is done, you should feeling better. Anyone at your situation will be depressed, including me. I have had a major disaster in my bathroom couple of years ago. Got major water damage when I was away for a year and it sprung a leak at the ceiling. It completely destroyed by bathroom. I still haven't gotten around to getting it fixed as they quoted me upwards of 30K to redo the whole bathroom after gutting it first... I am not even sure when I will finally get around to getting it fixed...
i do hope all works out well for you . meanwhile try not to crap too much (lol) i mean a bit thinner apple juice should keep the waste thin i presume (dont listen to this old fart here)all the best to you man.

Excellent light and dark scene, with Melanie proudly displaying her awesome bazooms. And as someone once said, to be alive is to be in danger. Or let me add my own....to be alive is to experience stress - to some degree at least. Hope everything works out for you during this traumatic period.

I need a yacht like that. Hope the sewer upgrade goes well, house repairs are never fun, especially on the pocketbook. I keep repairing the ac because I don't want to write that big check, but I'm not sure how much more I can tweak out of that poor tired old machine.
Lucky Melanie.....she looks like she's enjoying herself, chillin' out on that luxurious yacht!! I think you could use a vacation Rod....you should get on board that yacht, and let the gals take you out to sea, where you can just rest up, and relax a bit.....and then....when you get back home.....all your pipes will be brand new, and you can sell your house, and find a better place to live!!
