Description
I honestly don't remember where I took this photo - it's been sitting in my files for a little while & I don't remember the source folder it came from. It's either southern France or southern Oregon...
Please zoom.

Mysterious.
This jumped off the page at me. Love it! The contrast from very light to very dark, and all in one color range ... it's gorgeous.
I'm thinking that you took this photo in the French cavern called Gouffre de Padirac. Nothing this colorful in the Oregon Caves.
Intriguing. I've never seen such darkened limestone in any other cave system. I suppose that if people have been going in here for years before electric lights became common that spelunking cavers with torches could have blackened these surfaces. Alternatively, a lot of iron in the water possibly could produce the same result.
way cool !! wow ! well captured
Great capture very beautiful
Natures very own cathedral.
Caves like this seem to swallow the flash - you did great with this photo Claude.
Very cool shot especially as opposed to the "hot"shot you posted. Caves like this usually provide a cool place to hide from oppressive heat.
Very nice colors and formations!!!
Very nice!
Wow, land of the dwarves wherever it came from! Beautiful shot!
Absolutely well taken !!!!!
